At the corner Werdohler Straße/Oberstadttunnel
At the end of the 18th century, new technologies for metalwork shaping procedures such as blanking, embossing and lathing made the rise of an industry possible that initially grew out of the production of buttons and buckles. The Hueck brothers founded the factory in 1814 as a “factory for diverse buttons and operations in goods made of iron, steel and brass”. Today the company is known as Eduard Hueck GmbH & Co. KG and operates worldwide as a manufacturer of aluminium profile systems and aluminium profiles. Employing more than 600 people, it is one of Lüdenscheid’s largest employers.
The work of Dominik Lejman will be on display at the “Eduard Hueck” location.
