Karussellplatz 1
The “Inselhaus” was built in 1904 with shop space on the ground floor and apartments above. With the design of its stucco elements, windows and doors, the building is the most striking and most important Art Nouveau house in Luedenscheid. Aside from the ground floor, it remains virtually unaltered. The house has protected monument status, and its ground floor has been renovated in accordance with its original purpose and the available original documents, and is still in use today as a place of residence and business.
The work of the Stephan Reusse will be on display at the “Inselhaus” location.
